Internship / Trainee Front Office
For our Front Office of the niu Fender Amsterdam we are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and driven colleague. You are friendly to all guests, both personally and by telephone. You also make sure that guests feel right at home. As a Front Office employee you are the first and last point of contact for the guest, but you are also happy to assist the guests with interim questions. As an intern with us you also get the opportunity to work with different departments and you learn all the main tasks within the Front office department.
Your main duties and responsibilities include:
- Checking in and out of (international) guests
- Providing our guests with information such as hotel facilities, operation of (technical) equipment and tourist information
- Performing various administrative activities.
- Co-responsible for making room reservations and checking existing reservations.
- Implementing and meeting the wishes of guests and ensuring good information provision to our guests.
- Drawing up the accounts and taking care of the payments.
- Attending shift briefings and department meetings. Enthusiasm and passion are the keywords here. The niu Fender Amsterdam is an innovative concept that mainly focuses on millennials.
- You are studying in the direction of tourism/catering.
- You have no objection to a flexible work schedule, both during the week and at weekends. The early shift starts at 07:00 and the late shift ends at 23:00.
- You master the Dutch and English language in word and writing, knowledge of a third language is an advantage.
