For our Front Office of the niu Fender in Amsterdam we are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and driven colleague. You are friendly to all guests, both personally and by telephone. You also make sure that guests feel right at home. As a Front Office employee you are the first and last point of contact for the guest, but you are also happy to assist the guests with interim questions.
• Checking in and out of (international) guests.
• Providing our guests with information such as hotel facilities, operation of (technical) equipment and tourist information.
• Performing various administrative activities.
• Co-responsible for making room reservations and checking existing reservations.
• Implementing and meeting the wishes of guests and ensuring good information provision to our guests.
• Drawing up the accounts and taking care of the payments.
• Attending shift briefings and department meetings. Enthusiasm and passion are the keywords here. The niu Fender Amsterdam is an innovative concept that mainly focuses on millennials. • You have completed a study in the direction of tourism/catering or have enough experience in a similar position.
• You have no objection to a flexible work schedule, both during the week and at weekends. The early shift starts at 07:00 and the late shift ends at 23:00
• You master the Dutch and English language in word and writing, knowledge of a third language is an advantage;
• Good knowledge of Word and Excel is a plus
